Position Overview:


As a Landscape Account Manager, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-up on job quality, improvement areas, and client requests.

You will oversee all operations related to your maintenance accounts, including creating punch lists and proposals, ordering materials, and managing site irrigation.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction: Meet with clients regularly to provide updates, proposals, and reports. Attend committee and board meetings as required.

Site Recommendations: Offer horticulturally sound recommendations for site improvements.

Job Site Inspections: Conduct frequent site inspections, create punch lists, and ensure timely completion of tasks by crews and irrigators.

Quality Standards: Maintain all sites to the company's high-quality standards.

Irrigation Management: Ensure proper operation, scheduling, and maintenance of all irrigation systems and controllers.

Team Supervision: Direct irrigators during quarterly inspections and communicate irrigation issues and solutions to clients effectively.

Scheduling and Supervision: Use company software to schedule and supervise all landscape maintenance work. Update schedules as needed and manage job labor and material costs to achieve budgeted margins.

Role Model: Serve as a positive role model for organizational policies and procedures. Handle workplace injuries and incidents following proper HR and safety protocols.


Education and Qualifications:


  • A combination of formal education in Horticulture (or a related field) and/or several years of field experience in professional landscape management are required.
  • QAL (or the ability to obtain a QAL) is required. CLIA, CLT, and other licenses and certificates are beneficial.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish are beneficial.
  • A valid class "C" California Driver's License and an acceptable driving record are required.
