    Description

    Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electronic/Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems.

    With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

    Primary Responsibilities

    This position will work on a variety of products to include both military and commercial customers.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, computer skills associated with assembly tasks, including proficiency in using corporate production control processes, and creating documents and spreadsheets for manufacturing information such as work instructions, parts lists, and inventory reports.

    The candidate will be responsible for electronic and mechanical assembly of a variety of electronic hardware including:

    Electrical chassis

    Cables

    Electromechanical assembly efforts

    Basic Qualifications

    Candidate must have the following qualifications:
    Experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.

    Experience assembling electromechanical assemblies, some of which are small.

    Experience with cable fabrication and general mechanical assembly.

    High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

    Experience assembling cable harnesses.


    Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

    Other Qualifications

    The following qualifications are a plus:
    IPC certification for cable assembly.

    Experience in testing electromechanical assemblies.

    Associates degree in a technical discipline or in lieu of an associate's degree, 3+ years of directly applicable experience with a High School diploma or GED

    Security Requirements


    Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
