Transport Specialist (m/f/d) (Air and Sea Freight) in Milford, DE

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely transport processing
  • Comprehensive handling of national and international land, air, and sea freight shipments
  • Obtaining and comparing quotes for transport costs using the transport management platform Transporeon
  • Monitoring shipping and delivery processes while adhering to countryspecific regulations
  • Active communication with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, international locations, and internal departments
  • Operational coordination while complying with legal and internal regulations
  • Administrative tasks, such as invoice control
  • Close collaboration with all operational departments, logistics, and especially customers

Your Profile:

  • Commercial education, ideally with a focus on freight forwarding or logistics
  • Professional experience, ideally in the field of land, air, and sea freight
  • Experience in handling international shipping, transport planning/logistics
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Customeroriented mindset, dedicated, friendly, and openminded
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Serviceoriented thinking and acting
  • High level of initiative, commitment, and independent work
