    Description

    We are looking to add a Senior Water Resources Engineer to our growing team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a background in stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stream and wetland design, and production of construction documents.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Apply design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of various water resources projects including drainage, flooding issues, coastal resiliency, BMP retrofits, etc.
    • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of watersheds, river systems, spillways, and various other water conveyance facilities.
    • Perform storm drainage and stormwater management designs. Design stormwater management facilities to support local, state, and federal government projects.
    • Prepare construction documents including plans and specifications. Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
    • Complete design calculations and technical engineering reports.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
    • EIT/PE license highly preferred but non-licensed candidates may be considered with commiserate experience.
    • 4+ years of experience in water resource engineering.
    • Experience in hydrology and hydraulics software including HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and HydroCAD.
    • Experience with Civil 3D, Microstation, SWMM, StormCad, and ARC-GIS a plus.
