    Our ideal candidate will:
    Have a bachelor s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university (typical degrees for this position include Industrial Technology, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a similar area of study);
    Possess 5-7+ years of relevant experience in environmental air compliance / Clean Air Act consulting (with specific experience in air permitting and compliance); and
    Be located in the United States (if you are in the Midwest, that's even better)

    Note:
    Candidates must be in the United States and do not require sponsorship for a visa. We cannot consider candidates located outside the United States.

    Additional must-haves:
    Proven experience engaging with governmental agencies at both state and Federal levels.

    A solid grasp of state and federal environmental regulations, coupled with the ability to research, comprehend, and apply them to client scenarios.

    Proficiency in auditing various manufacturing operations to assess air compliance status.
    Capability to calculate potential and actual emissions for diverse industries, determining Federal and/or state air permitting requirements.
    Expertise in Title V permitting, NSR, NESHAPs, PSD, and stack testing.
    Skill in preparing comprehensive air permit applications for any air permitting level across different states.
    The ability to analyze, condense, and communicate air permit requirements effectively to clients.
    Represent clients and aid in agency negotiations during enforcement actions.
    Track record of completing compliance reporting requirements such as Emissions Reports, Annual Compliance Certifications, and NESHAP reports.
    Experience in drafting various written plans (PMP, RMP, ERP)


    Bonus:
    Air modeling experience.
    Capability to assist in QC and mentor other department staff.
    Open to considering full-time, part-time, or contract employment candidates for this position.
