We are looking for you to join our team as
Contract Administrator based out of
Linthicum, MD

This is a hybrid role and whomever is hired must be willing to come into the office at least 2 days a week.

What You'll get to Do:


The Contract Administrator will work with program business management teams to closely monitor contract funding and payments, while partnering with technical staff to address customer questions and requests.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Contracts adjacencies (Criminal Justice, English, International Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, Supply Chain Management) from an accredited institution with 3+ years of professional experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance, accounting, or related field or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS
  • Experience in contacts administration within the defense industry
  • Experience reading and interpreting legal and contractual requirements.
  • Professional experience in a regulated industry such as Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, or Telecommunications.
  • SAP or COGNOS software tool experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) customer reporting, MPM, or COBRA experience
  • Current/Active DoD Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance

Salary Range:
$68,800 - $103,200

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
