Description

Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We're currently looking for a Part Time Caregiver in Fairfax, VA _

Start date:ASAP

Length of Position: 6 months, possibility to extend

Schedule: Saturdays + Sundays, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

Compensation:$25-$28 per hour


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assistance with ADL's
  • Assisting client with getting dressed
  • Hygiene assistance; transfers from walker to use restroom (holding under his arm)
  • Light cooking/meal prep for client
  • Light showering assistance including transferring client in/out of shower (holding under his arm)
  • Medication assistance/reminders; crush meds & put in applesauce
  • Providing companionship for client

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional caregiving experience
  • Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Parkinson's is a plus

Job Type:

Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Rotating weekends
