Job Description:

The Sales Manager at Adams Insurance Advisors is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the production staff of the insurance agency by performing the following duties.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the production staff of the agency in goal setting and sales training .Recruit new producers to the agency.

Communicate to the sales staff the expectations of the management of the agency and make sure that sales goals are being achieved.

Provide training and assistance to sales personnel to achieve sales goals.

Track the business written and quote premiums on potential new policies when necessaryInterface with representatives of insurance companies and underwriters to know market availability.

Coordinate marketing efforts with Marketing Coordinator and Agency Manager.

Qualifications:

Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience, as well as an Associate's Degree or comparable work experience.

Possess a valid driver's license and a source of reliable transportation.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.

Leadership, analytical and decision-making qualities are critical. Must have the ability to create and maintain an environment where agency and individual goals can be met.

Achievement of agency operational goals - increasing agency capacity and profitability resulting from effective and efficient operations Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making and superior written and verbal communication skills.

Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.

Compensation:
