The Material Expediter (GmbH) will be responsible for utilizing the GCSS-A system and providing Equipment Status Reports (ESR) for the maintenance department.

They will also research document numbers for cancelations, delays, and long lead parts, and contact item managers and vendors to expedite repair parts.

Other responsibilities include generating SARS and accompanying paperwork for long lead parts, compiling and maintaining shipping status for all NMC parts, and ensuring compliance with international and European shipping and movement regulations.


The Material Expediter will also confer with the department manager to determine parts requirements and update the Maintenance Manager on NMC parts cancelation and long lead parts shipping status.

They must be able to deploy with the ECHA to other work sites and may be required to work shift work, weekends, and mandatory overtime with proper notice given.

This position may also require cross-training in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.


Other responsibilities include maintaining a daily timesheet and daily manning report, performing administrative duties for the Maintenance department, and completing other duties as needed.
