Youth Program DirectorPosition Summary
Unstacked Inc.
is a 501(c)(3) qualified nonprofit committed to combating violence, developing our youth, providing services for those released from incarceration, and providing advocacy and outreach services to struggling neighborhoods.
Role Overview- Design, develop, and implement innovative youth programs tailored to the needs of our community.
- Recruit new participants for the program.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Programming to strategize and implement developmentally appropriate classroom strategies and curriculum.
- Refer the youth to the case manager if personal, emotional, educational, mental, or family needs are identified.
- Participate actively within the team, adhering to team norms and modeling expected behavior.
- Provide the VP of Programming with accurate and timely updates regarding program operations and the wellbeing of youth.
- Represent the organization at various events as needed.
- Coordinate special events, including those outside of regular program hours.
Responsibilities:
Program Management
- As the Program Director, you will be responsible for managing the daytoday operations of the afterschool and summer programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and productive environment for our youth. Your role is crucial in creating an environment where our students can learn, grow, and thrive.
- Develop appropriate curriculum.
- Ensure program activities align with organizational objectives.
- Maintain program documentation, including lesson plans and assessments.
- Support student academic progress and socialemotional wellbeing.
- Build positive relationships with parents/guardians to support student learning.
- Coordinate transportation and facilities logistics to support program activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of program facilities.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Utilize appropriate systems for data management, including tracking attendance, maintaining records, and preparing reports on program metrics, achievement highlights, challenges, and areas of improvement.
- Implement data collection and analysis systems to measure program effectiveness.
- Ensure confidentiality of all program files.
Pay:
$38, $40,000.00 per year
