JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

SUPERVISOR: Joshua Dunn

COMPENSATION: HOURLY LEVEL H3 pay range ($24-$32/hour)

POSITION REPONSIBILITIES

Support the maintenance needs of the organization by responding to equipment failures in a timely, efficient manner and achieve agreed upon metrics for maintenance downtime in production.
Will help refine and adhere to the organization's preventative maintenance program.
Responsible for aiding in the installation and maintenance of new equipment.
Required to work closely with other maintenance team members, QA, production, leadership, and production teams.
Support operators with training, set-up, adjustment, and operation of production and packaging equipment
Report all safety concerns and incidents. Include possible corrective actions.
Communicate effectively and professionally with production and leadership teams.
Execute work orders in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Help maintain hardware and parts to appropriate levels. Report inventory shortages to supervisor.
Follow organizational standards as it pertains to tool cleanliness and inventory.

QUALITFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

English (reading and writing), Basic Mathematics, Bi-Lingual (Spanish, reading and writing) highly preferred.
Overall knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automated equipment, PLC/logic control, and HVAC systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, parts breakdowns, schematics, and electrical prints.
Goal oriented team player, reliable and punctual, resilient, empathetic, highly adaptive to change, positive attitude.
Must be able to follow all food safe handling (SQF) procedures.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance field, preferably in a related industry and on related equipment.
Safety protocol & Lockout tagout knowledgeable.
Food manufacturing environment (preferred).
