Job Summary:


As Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the care provided to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.

Your role involves supervising a team of caregivers, ensuring that care plans are implemented effectively, and maintaining a high standard of care for clients.

Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders involved in the care process.


Key Responsibilities:


Supervision and Coordination:

  • Provide guidance, support, and direction to a team of caregivers.
  • Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care.
  • Conduct regular checkins and performance evaluations for caregivers, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

Client Care:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to appropriate parties.
  • Follow individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs and preferences of each client.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of client care activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and medication administration records.
  • Document observations, interventions, and outcomes to track progress and ensure continuity of care.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members through written reports and verbal updates.

Training and Education:

  • Provide training and orientation to new caregivers, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Conduct ongoing education and skills development sessions to enhance the knowledge and competency of caregivers.
  • Stay updated on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to caregiving.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and company policies to maintain quality care delivery.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Participate in quality assurance initiatives, such as audits, surveys, and quality improvement projects.

Qulaifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in caregiving, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and problemsolve in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for individuals requiring care. Proficiency in basic computer skills and documentation software.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects and individuals as needed.
  • Stamina and endurance to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Requirements:


  • Clear criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for home visits). Willingness to undergo additional training and professional development as needed.

Working Conditions:


  • Work environment may include private residences, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or healthcare agencies.
  • Exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and challenging behaviors may occur.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs and staffing requirements.
