Job Title: Project Engineer at Holtec International

Position Summary:
Holtec International's Nuclear Power Division (NPD) is looking for Project Engineers (Entry-Level and Mid-Level) to join the Site Technical Services group based in Camden, NJ. As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth implementation of engineering projects. You'll be the main liaison with external parties, develop technical products, and coordinate project deliverables to ensure on-time and within budget completion of projects maintaining quality standards. This role requires technical expertise, organizational skills, and effective communication.

Their services cover the lifecycle of nuclear power plants, from design to decommissioning, emphasizing safety, regulatory compliance, and innovation.

Primary Job Functions:

Generate technical documents such as Engineering Change Packages, O&M Manuals, Design Specifications, and various Procedures.
Review equipment functionality to identify design change impacts.
Support system documentation development/validation like drawings, design descriptions, logic diagrams, etc.
Assist in developing designs for new and existing plant systems and equipment.
Establish design and quality requirements for Nuclear Power Plant equipment.
Prepare licensing basis reviews to support plant modifications and operations.
Collaborate with Project Management on project schedules and impacts.
Develop training material and ensure good engineering practices.
Resolve issues, promote teamwork, and address project execution risks.
Travel to client sites for design reviews and field verification.

Qualification Requirements for Individual:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or related engineering field.
Travel availability between company, vendor, and client sites.
Ability to obtain nuclear power plant access.
Attention to detail and ability to produce error-free documents.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of mechanics and heat transfer principles.
Handle multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Previous nuclear experience preferred.
E.I.T. Certification preferred.
