- Serves as the Qualtrics Brand Administrator at the institution and is responsible for: (1) designing new survey instruments, (2) distributing student, employee, and employer surveys, (3) designing automated survey reports with Qualtrics, (4) extracting raw data and creating visualizations in Tableau Server, and (5) coding and presenting qualitative feedback.
- Coordinates the administration and analysis of the Ruffalo Noel Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory, Ruffalo Noel Levitz Priority Survey for Online Learners, Survey of Entering Student Engagement, and Community College Survey of Student Engagement.

- Prepares an annual report detailing the performance of general education metrics. The analysis considers student learning outcomes data, student feedback, employee feedback and employer feedback.

- Responsible for extracting and maintaining external data sources including but not limited to: The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, United States Census Bureau, Federal Student Aid, Mississippi Department of Education.
- Serves as a resource member on the Instructional Affairs Council, Student Services Council, General Education Committee, Technology Council and Learning Resource Center Council.
- Provides governance councils and other stakeholders of the institution accurate data that can be used in the decision-making process.
- Assists with the creation of Tableau visualizations. Produces dashboards and visual data analytics as time permits.
- Designs and coordinates various ad hoc research projects based on institutional need, facilitates the administration of national assessments, and creates evaluation plans.
- Works with external researchers to facilitate a study upon approval of their research application.
- Ensures that all reports and generated output are delivered with accuracy and by the established deadline. The individual should pay excellent attention to detail, use analytical skills to solve complex problems and correct data errors when they arise at the source.

The Director of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for working collaboratively with all of the college, including administrative units, faculty and staff, for the collection, analysis, interpretation and application of institutional data in support of the College's reporting requirements and internal data needs.
The position requires a moderate amount of independent work and reports into the Vice President of Technology & Research at the Harrison County Campus.

Mandatory Qualifications
(M1)
Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education is required in Statistics, Computer Science, Educational Research, Mathematics, or a closely related field requiring quantitative analysis OR significant progress made towards earning a Ph.

Relevant course or experience working in evaluation, outcome-based assessment research, or applied survey research.
(M3)
Experience in statistical analysis using statistical software packages such as
SPSS
or R and mastery of online survey software.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrates the ability to write articles about complex findings in a concise manner that is easy for the end-user to consume.
