Dispatch Officer - Floral Park, NY
$ $7.63 (supplemental) = $28.63 per hour for first 40 hrs. per week

Thursday-Monday 12am to 8am shifts available


Position Summary


The Security Dispatch Officer manages dispatching and security guard duties onsite within a client location, ensuring the safety and security of all visitors, guests and residents and exhibiting excellent customer service, communication and hospitality; The Security Dispatch Officer is perceptive at identifying situational risk within assigned areas.

promptly communicating events to Site Supervisor/ Manager and employs at all times vigilance and tactfulness per company standards of protocol.

Working in the control center monitoring CCTV. Needs to be able to write reports and dispatch Security Guards when needed.


The Security Dispatch Officer works in conjunction with Supervisor staff and Operations teams to foster best practices that are compliant with federal/state regulations and respectful of our company policies and protocols.

Qualifications:


  • Valid NYS Security Guard License
  • Completion of 16 HR OJT Class required by NYS Licensing Division
  • Security guard experience plus 5 years' dispatcher experience
  • Valid NY Driver's License
  • Excellent customer service, communication and hospitality skills
