Description

NBP is a Claremont, CA based company in the business of designing, engineering and manufacturing Communication and Approach Lighting Systems and products for the aviation industry.

Obtains financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains department files and records.
  • Responsible for Accounts Payable & assisting with A/R. This includes statement reconciliation and 3-way matching.
  • Assists with journal entry recording and posting. Other duties as assigned.
  • Payroll processing. Will train.
  • Problem solving abilities and a desire to learn and grow are a must

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Accounting experience required.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from twoyear college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills
Must be proficient in Excel and Word.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Travel
Travel out-of-area and overnight may be expected.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The position also requires the ability to perform physically demanding activities. Must be able to push, bend, stoop, pull, lift and carry numerous components, racks, wiring, computers and equipment. Maximum single equipment and/or component weight of 25-40 pounds.
