Description
The digital producer must have a comprehensive knowledge of reporting, sourcing, transparency and journalism ethics, with a commitment to integrity and accuracy.
Crucially, the producer must be able to quickly write accurate, concise and clear stories that put the most interesting, important details up top and are easily readable for our audience.
Producers must be their own copy editors, producing stories and social posts that employ AP Style and are free of typos, grammatical errors and spelling/punctuation mistakes.
They will also be detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle stories and duties while working closely with the rest of the digital team.
They must be able to prioritize among competing stories those that are most important to our audience. Must be able to follow directions, perform duties, work well with others and make independent decisions. The producer must be adaptable to changing technologies and expectations.
Must be able to integrate digital content with broadcast coverage.
That requires working effectively with the assignment desk, show producers and on-air reporters, navigating a variety of personalities and communication styles.
Knowledge of Photoshop is preferred.Requirements:

Compensation:
$30/hour+ commensurate with skill level and experience
