Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and present accurate quotes for sheet metal projects, ensuring competitive pricing and optimal timelines.
• Analyze technical drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to identify costsaving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain a comprehensive materials, costs, and vendor relations database to support effective quoting.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, materials costs, and fabrication techniques to enhance quoting accuracy and competitiveness.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and suppliers, enhancing Boro Park's reputation for excellence and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in quoting, preferably within the sheet metal fabrication industry.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including welding, fabrication, and CNC operations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working effectively with clients and team members.
• Commitment to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in relevant software, such as CAD tools and ERP systems.

Significant Assets for Consideration:

$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
