About the role:


  • This individual will play a critical role developing and executing strategies that address the rapidly changing needs of our customers and how our portfolio can be best structured to address these needs and enable BSC Endoscopy to strengthen our market leading position

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Partner with franchises on long range planning/strategic plan views and support of other strategic questions
  • Lead early stage portfolio analysis of economic value and environmental sustainability inputs
  • Lead process to create the clinical value proposition of new products, serve as value prop SME, and test and validate the value proposition
  • Assist in development of early phase market and financial models, gathering key inputs and pressure testing assumptions
  • Support global pricing development, focused on buying process assessment and regional alignment
  • Generate and integrate insights from the VAT committee perspective into all productlevel activities
  • Conduct value workshops for products in development; ensure value strategy presented for all teams exiting definition phase and the teams have a validation plan in place.
  • Create a design brief outlining the economic value story for the DMC team to integrate into marketing collateral
  • Supporting execution of VOC with economic customers
  • Rapid sharing of best practices across functions and regions


  • Insight Generation

  • Collect customer and cross functional insights as relevant, including internal and external VOC, Competitive landscape, Reimbursement landscape, Commercial/franchise objectives.
  • Partner with internal teams to gather VAT insights through various forums and events
  • Ensure insights are incorporated into product
- and portfolio-level economic value activities

  • Work crossfunctional teams test product value messaging with global customers and adapt as needed.


  • Portfolio analysis

  • Lead earlystage portfolio analysis of economic value and environmental sustainability inputs and collaborate with the exploratory and portfolio teams.
  • Partner with franchises to support longterm strategy and prioritize future areas for investment


  • Value proposition development

  • Create initial unmet need/ early value prop for all active funded programs
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams for ongoing validation of value prop


  • Pricing strategy development

  • Work collaboratively with a cross functional team to determine product category and ideal pricing strategy
  • Work with the regions to establish Global pricing floors
  • Develop an early read on ASP and target COGS based on elevate targets for financial model assumptions in early development phase
  • Validate market and financial model assumptions
  • Conduct pricing market research as appropriate, including willingnesstopay and buying process assessment
  • VAC messaging and collateral creation
  • Develop and vet economic value drivers for products in development
  • Create a design brief outlining the economic value story for the DMC team to integrate into marketing collateral
  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures

Required qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years successful related business/marketing work experience
  • Undergraduate degree required, MHA or MBA preferred
  • Healthcare provider administration, healthcare consulting or related healthcare marketing experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of clinical and financial data relevant to healthcare systems
  • Track record of developing a strategic understanding of new/emerging target customer segments and building a marketing plan designed to achieve business objectives with those customers
