Previous experience with dementia patients encouraged

Responsiblities include but are not limited to:

  • Recognizes actual or potential abuse of residents and has full knowledge of what steps are needed to protect the victim and to whom this is reported
  • Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities so that all residents are involved in activities by engaging in and organizing games, crafts, religious services, parties
  • Conducts activity programs as scheduled
  • Independently lead (large/small groups) recreational programs and 11 visits
  • Adjust recreational programs to need of residents
  • Transfer residents to w/c, escort to and from recreational programs
  • Accompany residents on Community outings
  • Arrange tables, chairs for large group programs
  • Experienced is preferred but not required.
