Job Summary

The Premium Audit Reviewer I, under direct supervision, is responsible for reviewing virtual audits on Excess & Surplus Property/Casualty Commercial Lines adjustable policies to verify appropriate classifications, exposures, and basis of premium.


Responsibilities:


  • Continuously exhibit and uphold Core Values of Integrity, Accountability, Communication and Teamwork, Innovation and Customer Service
  • Review physical audit worksheets from company internal Premium Auditors and outside vendors to verify that proper classifications and exposures are applied to the final audit bill
  • Process audit information utilizing the policy administration system including monitoring and followup with internal departments to resolve system issues and errors to generate the final audit billing statement
  • Communicate with all internal departments and divisions and external parties regarding exposures, classification changes, or general auditing procedure questions pertaining to premium audits with concerns that arise
  • Communicate to underwriting about all prescribed company underwriting alerts and/or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with all interdepartmental team members
  • Provide support to the premium auditors
  • Assist with responding to basic correspondences within shared department inbox
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education
Premium Audit Reviewer

  • High School diploma required
  • Minimum of one year of work experience in customer service or office environment required
Premium Audit Reviewer II

  • High School diploma required
  • Associate degree in accounting, business administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum of two years' experience in reviewing premium audits required
  • Minimum of one year experience working with multistate accounts preferred
Senior Premium Audit Reviewer

  • High School diploma required
  • Associates Degree in accounting, business administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum of four years' experience in reviewing premium audits required
  • Minimum of three years' experience working with multistate accounts preferred
