COMPANY OVERVIEW
***The Front-End Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the front end of Shopify+ websites, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness across various devices and browsers. This role involves close collaboration with designers to transform mockups and wireframes into interactive web pages, while also conducting A/B testing and optimizing user experience and conversion rates.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain the front end of our Shopify+ websites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across devices and browsers
• Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional web pages, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience
• Conduct A/B testing using tools like VWO or Optimizely to optimize user experience and conversion rates, and implement successful variations
• Develop relevant landing pages and promotional content in alignment with our eCommerce strategy
• Regularly audit and optimize site speed and performance to enhance user experience
• Customize Shopify themes, templates, and apps to meet business requirements while adhering to best practices
• Work with crossfunctional teams including marketing, product, and customer service to ensure web development initiatives support business goals
• Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
• Identify and resolve frontend issues promptly, providing ongoing support and maintenance for our websites
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development, eCommerce, and the Shopify ecosystem

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years of frontend development experience, with a focus on eCommerce platforms, Shopify+ preferred
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or is a plus
• Experience with A/B testing tools like VWO, Optimizely, or similar
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to implement them effectively
• Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques to enhance website visibility
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze data from A/B tests and other sources to make informed decisions
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work
