    Description
    Tax Senior Manager
    We are hiring both Manager and Senior Manager levels. Oversee hedge fund tax compliance engagements for clients with appropriate consideration of risk, operational, and tax technical issues
    Research of tax legislation and explaining the impact to asset management clients is required as part of your contribution to tax consulting projects
    Operate in a dynamic environment, coach junior staff members, and share your knowledge and experience with the entire team
    Manage deadlines and client expectations
    Handle billing/WIP management

    Excellent time and project management skills
    Proficiency in partnership allocations and an understanding of private equity carry waterfalls
    A practical understanding of international tax concepts such as PFICs, CFCs, and other reporting information (Form 1065, Form 1042, Form 1120F, Form 5471, etc.)
    Proficiency in juggling multiple priorities while managing internal and external stakeholders
    5+ years of progressive experience at a public accounting firm
    ~ of strong partnership with internal engagement teams
    ~ Understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc. Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns and Schedules K-1 and K-3
    ~ Extensive experience with computing taxable income and partnership allocations for private funds
