    Position Overview:

    Join our expert team at Belcan, located in Port Canaveral, FL, as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This full-time, direct role comes with comprehensive benefits and the unique opportunity to shape the future of space exploration. We are seeking skilled engineers to drive the manufacturability of various subsystems and integrated systems for an ambitious launch vehicle project. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and hands-on experience, ensuring engineering designs are seamlessly translated into efficient manufacturing work orders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Ensure subsystem and system designs are manufacturable, assessing build flow, process evaluation, and EBOM alignment.

    Translate design requirements and eBOMs into detailed work order planning, processes, and MBOMs, meeting Production Readiness Review (PRR) standards.

    Lead the Operations Program Manager team in tracking hardware order status and managing timelines for critical components.

    Contribute to PRR with evaluations on technology base, supply chain maturity, product design, cost estimation, material maturity, process capability, quality management, workforce readiness, and facilities adequacy.

    Work on-site at Port Canaveral, FL, with potential travel to Kent, WA. Flexibility to work across 1st or 2nd shifts may be required.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

    5 to 15+ years of experience in manufacturing process planning, operation sequencing, and NPI project management.

    Proficiency in process documentation, machining, fabrication, and advanced manufacturing planning.

    Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools and MES software.

    Exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

    U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

    Preferred Skills:

    MBA or Project Management certification (PMP).

    Experience with CREO, Windchill, and predictive assembly process storyboard development.

    Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes, including metal fabrication, machining, and testing.
