Warehouse/Driver

We are a small-medium business (~11 employees) located in Mesa. We are looking for someone who can learn on the job and has good attention to detail.

This is not a traditional driver position - we need someone who will help with loading and unloading trailers full of doors and other construction material.

It is labor-intensive and will occasionally require staying late.


Responsibilities:

• Load trucks/trailers as directed. Driver must be willing to lift and carry doors as heavy as 100 lbs. Any unusually heavy or wide doors will be carried by at least two people.
• Compare loaded material with packing slips, ensuring that the correct items are loaded and delivered to the customer.
• Take/save photos of delivered orders.
• Act as the "last line of defense", checking material for damage and defects before loading.
• Drive trucks and trailers all throughout the state of Arizona (with regular deliveries going to Pima about a 2.5 hour drive)
• Inspect truck and trailers regularly to ensure safety (oil, lights, tire pressure, etc.)

Hours are Monday thru Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. But depending on the delivery schedule, there will be occasional late days.

Pay will be dependent on experience and will start between $18 and $22 per hour.

Bilingual/forklift experience is a huge plus


Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

No less than 40 per week
