Quality Assurance Associate


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conducts cultivation, processing, and packaging GMP audits and documents audit results in accordance with established procedures.
  • Promptly communicates identified discrepancies to management & team leads, and drives investigations for identified audit findings. Follows up on corrective action commitments.
  • Trains QA Technicians and other team members on GMP processes, and proper inspection and release of batch records.
  • Documents and executes approved packaging/process change trials to ensure key performance criteria have been met.
  • Improves or creates SOP's and executes training, where necessary, to ensure product requirements and key performance criteria continue to be met.
  • Works in partnership with QA Technicians to ensure seed to sale traceability at all times.
  • Maintains strict adherence to established company procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Experience in writing and revising SOP's
  • Experience in Document Change Control
  • Experience in Training programs
  • Experience with quality events, deviations, customer complaints, and CAPA.
  • Have a basic understanding of root cause analysis and process mapping.
  • At least 1 year of experience in QA or Quality Control in a regulated industry.
  • Experience in a GMP, GAP, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environment.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's of Science or Bachelor's in Agricultural Sciences. At least 1 year of experience in QA or Quality Control in a regulated industry. ASQ or other certification preferred but not required.
