Summary of essential job functions:


  • Primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs.
  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
  • Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs.
  • Create a positive atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and fun.
  • Befriend residents to encourage resident selfesteem.
  • Promote an environment of safety.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
  • Be patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm and ability to incorporate these into life enrichment services.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 23 years of experience as a Activity Aide or Life Enrichment Assistant.
  • Previous experience in senior living care is a plus.
  • Comfortable utilizing Social Media.
  • Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check.
