    As a CNA/Patient Care Assistant in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at our medical center, you will bring your healthcare expertise and dedication to our team in Greeley, CO. We are seeking an individual with prior PCU background or at least 1 year of CNA experience.
    We are currently offering a Full-Time Day Shift with three 12-hour shifts per week. The hours are from 6am to 6:30pm. This position requires weekend rotations. Take advantage of a $1.50/hour weekend shift differential and a $5/hour night shift differential when applicable.
    This 378-bed Level II trauma center and acute care facility, with over 3000 employees, is the largest hospital in the region.     POSITION SUMMARY
    This role involves providing routine patient care to enhance patient comfort and contribute to their overall care plan. You will be responsible for ongoing patient data collection, documentation in medical records, and various unit support tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.

    CORE FUNCTIONS
    - Providing assistance in activities of daily living and completing necessary tasks to promote patient health
    - Collecting patient specimens and data, including vital signs, input/output, and other measurements
    - Recognizing and reporting any abnormalities or changes in patient health status
    - Performing procedures and using equipment as delegated by a licensed professional
    - Conducting receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations
    - Maintaining complete patient records and adequate levels of supplies
    - Assisting with patient transportation as needed
    - Working under supervision and interacting with staff and patients throughout the facility

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
    Current BLS certification and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice
    Skills and abilities gained from 1 year of medical clerical experience
    Excellent organizational, human relations, and communication skills
    Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy
    Passing required tests for ECG or EEG interpretations

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) licensure preferred in Arizona
    Recent healthcare experience and completion of unit secretary program preferred
    Additional related education and/or experience preferred
