_Adult and Family shelter Resident Counselor_
Resident Counselor's support the needs of individuals or families who are experiencing homelessness, providing provisions of basic needs, and creating a safe and secure residential living environment.
Resident Counselor's act as a role model, guiding clients and facilitating appropriate behaviors such as daily living skills, self-care, personal interactions, social relationships, constructive time management, following program policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile people within the facility.
- Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities (friendly, courteous, helpful, ability to work as part of a team).
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
Full Time Positions Available:
Thursday/Friday 12am - 8am Saturday - Monday 8am - 4pm
Saturday/Sunday 8am - 4pm Monday - Wednesday 4pm - 12am
Part Time position available:
Thursday/Friday 8a-4p; Sunday/Monday 4p-12a
On call Positions Available
Job Types:

Pay:
$16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
