Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) is actively seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.
Outpatient oncology social work is a sub-specialty of clinical medical social work where the LCSW or LMHC provides oncology social work interventions with cancer patients, caregivers and family members throughout the diagnostic and treatment continuum and survivorship.
This is a Full-Time Days opportunity, M-F 8-5 with some flexibility.
This LCSW or LMHC will have specialized training in comprehensive cancer care, mental health and is skilled in the ability to help people living with cancer improve their quality of life, manage distress, cope effectively, develop strategies, utilize community resources and find hope.
The LCSW or LMHC will be responsible for:
This role requires a Master's degree and a valid Florida License as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
