    Description

    Job Description:

    • Manages a therapeutic program by providing therapy to individuals with mental illness, coordinating case management services, and overseeing clinical staff to ensure program goals are met.
    • Maintains caseloads, reviews treatment plans, and facilitates psychotherapy sessions for staff.
    • Meets with staff to review caseload statuses and client progress.
    • Provides professional diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy to individuals, groups, and families.
    • Consults with healthcare professionals to ensure collaborative treatment planning.
    • Establishes referrals and linkages with external agencies for additional client services.

    • Lawndale - 1105 S. Western Ave, Chicago, IL
      • Shift: Monday - Friday
      • Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (4 days a week), 11:30pm – 7:30pm (1 day a week)
    • Greater Grand - 4314 S. Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago, IL 60653
      • Shift: Monday - Friday
      • Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (4 days a week), 11:30pm – 7:30pm (1 day a week)
    • Greater Lawn - 4150 W. 55th St, Chicago, IL 60632
      • Shift: Monday - Friday
      • Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (4 days a week), 11:30pm – 7:30pm (1 day a week)
    • North River - 5801 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60646
      • Shift: Monday - Friday
      • Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (4 days a week), 11:30pm – 7:30pm (1 day a week)
    • Englewood - 641 W. 63rd Street, Chicago, IL 60621
      • Shift: Monday - Friday
      • Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (4 days a week), 11:30pm – 7:30pm (1 day a week)

    This position is in the Career Service.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work, plus three years of professional mental health experience; or Master's degree in related fields plus additional experience.
    • Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications: Some positions may require licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and/or Licensed Professional Psychologist (LCP).
    • Selection Requirements: Applicants must complete an interview, including a written exercise and/or skills assessment.
    • Preferences:
      • Supervisory experience.
      • Proficiency in electronic medical records.
      • Experience diagnosing mental health conditions in adults.
      • Licensure as a LCSW, LCPC, or LCP.
      • Fluency in Spanish.
