You must have the following:
- Valid NYS drivers license for 2 years or more.
- DOT Medical Card.
- Experience driving a box truck.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more by yourself.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a companyowned moving truck to transport customer belongings to their new destination
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items with care and attention to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the timely completion of moves
- Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork related to the job
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for 2 years and clean driving record
- Experience of at least 1 year or more driving experience of a box truck
- DOT Medical card (not necessary but would be helpful)
- Polite and well mannered
- Ability to life 50 pounds or more
- Previous experience as a driver and/or mover
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
- Work well with others
