Description

Supervise a small warehouse crew daily

Learn and know all of the responsibilities of the crew members
Fill in and perform all of these duties when needed
Assign duties and maintain crew discipline and reasonable productivity

We are hiring someone who can do the above, with tasks including:

Forklift driving
Unloading/Loading Trailers
Driving a box truck (no special license needed) to pickup and deliver drums and other pallets
Computer skills include: posting received inventory, billing, adjusting pricing, updating spreadsheet information
Use an RF scanner to divide parts from received pallets to our 8 stores
Stack and securely wrap pallets from loose parts in order to load and deliver safely
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including rest room facilities

The chosen employee will supervise our main incoming-and-cross-docking location near Indiana Tech University. The job will be approximately 50/50 sitting/standing and will require occasional lifting of up to 50lbs. The warehouse environment is heated in winter, and we use fans to cool in summer months. The Warehouse-and-Inventory-Supervisor (WIS) works directly with our Supply Manager to ensure efficient and accurate operations. Our WIS supervises two employees and may occasionally need to fire/hire/train said employees.
