Position Summary:

Reporting to the Virginia Technical Academy (VTA) School Administrator, the Admissions Representative is responsible for supporting the admissions process of a technical trades school that teaches both online and on-campus courses such as Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Appliance Repair, and Facilities Maintenance.

Learns the school's course offerings including familiarization with the Course Catalog, course calendars, and tuition plans; communicates effectively with prospective students; sends promotional information to prospective students; professional, welcoming disposition; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal and customer service skills are essential

When aware, reports to School Administrator prospective students' barriers to registration; requires active listening skills, patience, and tactful communication; position requires flexibility to implement changing processes and/or plans

Responds promptly to unforeseen requirements when directed by the School Administrator


Education Requirements:
High school/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
