Knobbe Martens is one of the largest IP law firms in the U.S., with close to 300 lawyers and scientists representing the complete spectrum of technologies and IP practice areas and is looking for an Interim Director of Business and Practice Development_._ Reports to the firm's Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with the firm's Business Development Committee and practice chairs.

In addition, the position works directly with all of the firm's professionals to identify and pursue new business opportunities, support the marketing efforts of individual attorneys and promote the firm's brand.

Demonstrates a strategic approach to marketing and business development and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving setting involving multiple internal clients.

• Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of three years demonstrated experience in managing the marketing program of a large law firm.
• Strong project management skills with superior initiative to follow through.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Status:
Temporary; Full-time


Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:30pm.

This position depends upon the ability of the employee to work closely with attorneys and staff members during regularly scheduled hours.

Hybrid/Remote options available. This position requires ability to work overtime, which often cannot be predicted in advance.


Salary Range:
$140-$160K, depending on qualifications and experience.
