Seasonal Campground Host

Lake Carroll Association is looking for a dynamic individual or couple for the position of Campground Host. The position is seasonal and mostly on the weekends.

The host will aid and provide guidance for fellow members. The host will assist with the sales of ice and other small sundries.

Job Summary:

The campground host is responsible for creating and maintaining a friendly, professional family oriented camping facility which offers a safe, relaxing and fun camping experience for its campers.

The Host will provide services and assistance to campers and assure that the facilities and grounds are being monitored and maintained.

• Responsibilities:
• Greet, welcome, and register campers upon arrival and maintain a checkin/checkout log.
• Assist campers by providing information regarding Lake Carroll, hours of operation of LC facilities, local points of interest, local events, local services, etc. and providing directions as needed.
• Provide information and educate the Campers of the rules and regulations.
• The Host shall maintain a record of compliments, complaints, comments and suggestions regarding the facilities in general, and including any reports of situations which could potentially jeopardize the health and safety of campers.
• The Host shall set a good example for campers by practicing good housekeeping and observing the rules and regulations.

Targeted days of host responsibilities:

• Friday: 1:00pm to 8:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am to 6:00pm
• Sunday: 11:00am to 5:00pm
• Holidays: 11:00am to 5:00pm

This is a paid position (seasonal/hourly) and offers a host campsite, utilities, internet, etc.
