Position Overview

As a .NET Developer on our Internal ERP Modernization Project team, you will have the opportunity to work on a challenging and rewarding project that will significantly enhance our organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications and services as part of the ERP modernization project.
Work with the project team to ensure the seamless integration of the ERP system with other business applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards.
Perform unit testing and participate in system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed solutions.
Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain system uptime.
Collaborate with other developers and provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to .NET development.
Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather and understand ERP system requirements.

Requirements:

Job Requirements/Skills

Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a strong understanding of C#, VB.NET, SQL, .NET CORE, XUnit, git, and related technologies
Familiarity with infrastructure as code/DevOps is a plus
Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps is a plus
Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in ERP modernization projects is a plus
Agile/Scrum/React/Android development/WPF experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

Office Environment. Utilizing an office desk-sitting, reading, listening or speaking with the ability to move intermittently throughout the day
Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing and dexterity
Exposure to physical operations in scrap recycling facilities, including walking/climbing in active industrial yards with uneven surfaces in inclement weather.
Ability to lift and carry object between 15-30 lbs.
