We are looking for you as a *student assistant (m/f/d) for travel consulting and sales* at DB Vertrieb GmbH in the travel center in Frankfurt (M).

During the semester, you will work approximately hours per week, with the possibility to increase your working hours during semester breaks.

You will receive an innovative and high-quality one-month in-house training at the Frankfurt/M location.

The training will take place full-time (39 hours/week) during your semester breaks and will consist of theoretical and practical lessons.

*Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for advising and selling all offers and additional services in DB's passenger transport
You will conduct customer conversations in a professional and standardized manner
You will also be responsible for actively selling additional offers
Furthermore, you will handle ticket refunds and provide advice to customers on all matters related to travel
You will receive and forward suggestions and complaints to the appropriate contacts
You will provide friendly and competent advice on digital apps (e.g. DB Navigator) and ticket machines

*Your profile:

You are a properly enrolled student who enjoys interacting with customers and wants to demonstrate your sales and sales talent under constantly changing conditions
You have good knowledge of traffic geography and a strong customer and service-oriented approach, even in difficult situations
You have a high affinity for new sales media such as smartphones, tablets, and the internet
