Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team.
As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and visual equipment for various events and presentations.
This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.Duties:
- Set up and install audio and visual equipment such as projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems
- Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Operate audio and visual equipment during events, ensuring clear sound quality and optimal visual display
- Assist with the design and implementation of audio visual systems for different venues
- Provide technical support to clients or event organizers during live events
- Maintain inventory of audio visual equipment and accessories
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of events
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Audio Visual Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems and protocols
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting and computer hardware setup
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Experience in field service or onsite support is a plus
- Knowledge of hand tools and mechanical principles
Job Types:

$ $24.56 per hour
