Team Leader for the Service Places Team in the Student Service (m/f/d)

Organizational Unit:
Service Unit for Studies and Teaching (SLE)


Your Tasks:


The Student Service is the first point of contact for students and prospective students before, during, and after their studies.

In your role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Team Leadership: for a team of 12 employees, including scheduling, handling and resolving special requests and complaints, and leading team meetings

Deputy Management: for the Student Service, including tasks in the SAP personnel management tool, conducting admission, waiting list, and lottery procedures, and handling individual cases

Link: between the Service Places Team and the Student Service management, as well as the team leaders of the Welcome Desk and Degree Documents teams

Support: You will support the application and admission process for the KIT's study programs, as well as the student and exam administration for over 20,000 students. You will also assist with fulfilling reporting requirements (e.g. to the State Statistical Office).

Customer Service: You will be the first point of contact for our prospective and current students for various questions related to application and admission, exam administration, and program-specific matters.

Development: You will accompany the entire student life cycle, from application to enrollment, re-registration, admission to academic exams, and issuance of certificates. You will also help to further develop and implement planned
