Position/Organization Summary:

The American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division (ATSPA) is a non-profit organization committed to injury prevention and mitigation through education, intervention, and advocacy.

Reporting directly to the ATSPA Chief Executive Officer, the Educational Program Coordinator is a full-time, professional position (40 hours per week).

This position provides administrative, logistic, and operational support to the ATSPA, in order to achieve the organization's mission of preventing traumatic injury.

Position Responsibilities:

• Coordinates requests for educational programs
• Represents the ATSPA at community events
• Partners with Institutional Members on various trauma prevention initiatives, as requested
• Facilitates educational webinars on various injury prevention topics, securing continuing education credits, as required
• Implements program aspects of acquired grant funding, including, but not limited to: Stop the Bleed; firearm violence prevention; bicycle safety; and others
• In partnership with ATSPA Communications Coordinator and ATSPA Educational Program and Event Coordinator, researches, develops, and updates language for new and existing trauma prevention educational resources

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from a fouryear accredited degree program; degree in health education, communications, or education preferred
• Minimum of three years' experience with educational program development and public speaking experience in the educational realm
• Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project focus
• Selfmotivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with diverse groups of people
• Integrity, professionalism, passion, idealism, positive attitude, missiondriven, and selfdirected
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe; Outlook; Wufoo; Survey Monkey; Doodle

Job Site:

The ATSPA operates on a hybrid schedule: two days weekly on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA and three days remote work.

While the employee will need their own at-home wifi and printing capability in order to conduct work remotely, a company laptop will be provided, along with supplies, equipment, and materials essential to remote work.

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm, including a 1 hour paid lunch break.


Salary and Benefits:


Salary:
$40,000-$45,000 annually, as determined by the most recent salary market analyses. Annual salary commensurate with education and experience.
