_ _a Scheduler II
, **who will be based at the Woodland Hills, CA project offices, but may travel to other Los Angeles project sites and offices, supporting this multi-billion-dollar, education sector building program.


_Essential Job Duties_ - **The Scheduler II's duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance
• Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule
• Perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims
• Participate in change order negotiations
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses
• Identify schedule related problems which arise during project execution and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions
• Conduct construction/project site visits for progress reporting.
• Review contractor's weekly and monthly schedule progress, prepare narrative of findings, submit and present to management for decision making
• Review and evaluate contractor recovery schedules.
• Perform cost analysis in support of design and construction phases of capital projects.
• Analyze actual expenditures versus budget performance.
• Prepare cost loaded schedule to support comprehensive cash flow projections
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum (of 5 years) may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.

Minimum Required Capabilities & Experience

• 35 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling.
• Experience with time impact analysis.
• Experience with construction claims and change orders.

Hardware/Software/Systems & Related

• Advanced proficiency in use of Primavera Scheduling Software

The individual selected for the position will be working a full-time, regular schedule, reporting-to and supporting the location in Woodland Hills, CA. They may also be required to travel to other project offices and project sites in L. A., as needed._

Compensation:
Maximum c_ompensation for this position is $50 - $55 per hour, based upon qualifications. This a Full-time, regular, exempt position._
