    **Sr. Inventory Analyst**

    BFG Supply is a rapidly growing, private equity owned distribution company servicing that is achieving its growth goals through both organic growth and acquisitions. Given the dynamic growth of BFG, the company has created the Senior Inventory Analyst as a new position whose primary role will be to provide information on how it is using its inventory its most important asset. The position will report to the Vice President of Finance.

    **Responsibilities**

    Implement and lead BFGs Sales and Operations Planning process

    Provide analysis regarding the profitability of BFGs product lines and skus

    Provide analysis regarding the productivity of BFGs product lines to ensure that the product lines with slow moving skus are being removed from the product lines

    Ensure that safety stocks are properly set to maximize fill rates and minimize inventory investment

    Support the operations team in setting inventory planning objectives and provide frequent detailed analysis to ensure that the leadership is aware of how they are performing against their inventory commitments

    Determine the slow-moving inventory reserve for financial reporting purposes

    **Required Skills and Experience**

    At least 5 years experience working in a Supply Chain or Operations accounting role in a distribution or manufacturing company

    Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business or Operations, MBA a plus

    Experience with Sales Operations and Planning process

    Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to identify and highlight key trends from large amounts of data

    Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal relationship skills.

    Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, other MS Applications, with strong ERP knowledge.
