Responsibilities:
- Surgical Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures for patients, ensuring appropriate time slots, facilities, and resources are available. Collaborate with physicians, surgical teams, and patients to determine the optimal timing for surgeries, taking into consideration patient preferences, medical urgency, and availability of operating rooms.
- Patient Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding surgical scheduling. Communicate detailed information about surgical procedures, preoperative instructions, and postoperative care. Address patient questions, concerns, and inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner. Maintain clear and accurate communication channels throughout the scheduling process.

Records Management:
Maintain meticulous records of all scheduled surgeries, including patient information, surgery details, and relevant medical documentation. Update electronic health records (EHR) and other databases accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all necessary paperwork, consent forms, and insurance authorizations are completed and submitted as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Proven experience in surgical scheduling or healthcare administration, preferably in a physician practice or hospital setting.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, personable demeanor
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multitask
