We have an exciting opportunity for an Applications Administrator to join our IT team in Poway, CA. This role will work under the general supervision of a system administrator or manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operating Systems: Knowledge of operating systems like Linux, Windows, or Unix is essential. Familiarity with commandline interfaces, file systems, and system configuration is a must.
Networking Fundamentals: Basic Understanding networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and network protocols is crucial for managing network services and troubleshooting networkrelated issues.
System Administration Tools: Familiarity with tools like package managers (e.g., apt, yum, or rpm), configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef), and monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus) is valuable.
Documentation and Communication: Ability to document processes, configurations, and procedures clearly, and communicate effectively with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications:

Experience working in a corporate environment (2+ years) preferred
Ability to write scripts in an administrative language.
Understanding of Active Directory and LDAP concepts.
Understand SSL certificate trusts.

$71,950 - $109,885
