The training:
a brief overview


Do you enjoy natural sciences like biology, physics, and math, and have a passion for nature? Are you not interested in a typical office job? Then this training is perfect for you.

Under the guidance of colleagues, you will measure and monitor, maintain pumps, and take water samples.

You will learn all of this and more, including biology, mechanics, and high-tech, at the large Bremen-Seehausen wastewater treatment plant.


There is plenty of material to work with:

every day, up to cubic meters of wastewater are treated here, which is equivalent to the loading volume of 7879 large containers.

It's a daily challenge.


What you should know:

Requirements:

  • Application with a secondary school leaving certificate
  • Strengths in natural sciences
  • Technical understanding

Process:

  • Duration of training: three years
  • Vocational school: block lessons at the Education Center for Technology and Design in Oldenburg (travel costs will be covered).
