Position- Ab Initio Developer
- Woodlawn, MD (Hybrid
- 2 days onsite / week)

Description of Work:
- GDE, Co>Op, PSETS, PDL Programming, Meta Programming, Generic Graphs and usage of Conduct>IT (Plans).
- Coordinate with Leads and develop Advanced Ab Initio graphs and Ab Initio Plans, write complex Linux wrapper scripts
- Execute the SQL queries against Greenplum database, monitor daily loads and write the advanced queries to get
- Support all the production loads, debug the failures and provide the resolutions.
- All other duties as assigned or directed.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience.
- 5 + years of experience working with strong datawarehouse and ETL Ab Initio tool background.
- Experience working with relational database like Oracle, DB2 and PostgreSQL.
- Experience working with UNIX/ Linux bash scripting.
- Experience working in a fastpaced development environment with drive to completion.
- Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Well versed with using version control systems (EME and Git).
- Analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong handson experience in datawarehouse and ETL
- Ab Initio tool background.
- Excellent working knowledge of Ab Initio suites of product
- GDE, Co>Op, PSETS, PDL Programming, Meta
- Good experience in various Abinitio parallelism techniques and implement overall solutions comprising of ETL jobs
- Knowledge on EME version control, Ab Initio air commands, m_ commands and UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
- Experience working with various Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, Join, Partition by key, Normalize, Gather,
- Proficient and comfortable with Ab Initio metaprogramming using vectors and implementing tuning techniques for
- Strong knowledge of any database such Oracle, DB2 or Greenplum is a must.
- Flexible to support ongoing BAU production jobs and release activities.
- Must have knowledge on data warehousing concepts, data modeling and expert level Database/SQL skills.
- Proficient in creating documentation related to design documents, Unit testing, handover and walkthrough
- Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and endtoend testing) and effectively coordinate the
- Closely work with the architecture team to review the design and ETL code.
- Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
- Working experience in AWS and knowledge of Cloud environment.
- Business Intelligence MIBI Reporting tools like Tableau and WebFOCUS.
- Experience with Telephony or high volumes of transactional data.
- Work closely with customer technical leads and other Leidos team members.
Pay:
$ $70.00 per hour
