Art Teacher - Part-Time Position
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid New Jersey School Certificate or Eligibility.
- Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Required criminal history background check.
- Proof of citizenship or legal resident alien status.
REPORTS TO:
Superintendent/Principal
JOB GOAL:
1. To provide an approved art education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth;
- To help pupils develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and
- To maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
Part Time - (Two days [Thursday & Friday] per school week)
PAY RATE:
As per WTEA Negotiated Contract (prorated) NO BENEFITS
