Service Technicians

Primary Responsibilities

• Organize installations

a. Create materials list and verify it is ordered

b. Prepare equipment and material needed

c


Prepare helper for job:
description of job and what is expected of them.

d. Register lifts or equipment installed for factory warranty

• Assist with bidding jobs

a. Make site visits and determine time and material needed to complete job

b. Do layout of job site with clear description and pictures for helpers to clearlyunderstand.

b. Coordinate with estimator bidding the job

• Perform service and repair calls in a timely and professional manner

a. Train helpers in the field proper techniques forservicing and repairing the equipment we work on.

b. Complete and turn in properly completed paperwork for in house servicecalls

c. Complete and turn in properly completed paperwork for warranty

• Restock all left over equipment, parts and material from completed jobs and service
• Maintain vehicle and equipment

a. Cleanliness of vehicle; inside and outside, ie. Food bags and trash, fingerprints, oil, grease

b. No smoking in vehicles

c. Check daily proper tire pressure on truck, trailers and other equipment.

d. Check all fluid levels; oil, coolant, DEF, etc.

e. Verify equipment and materials are secured and binders, chains and or strapsare in good working condition.

Alert Service Director of any repairs, services or work that needs to beperformed to your vehicle, or equipment that you have used.

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required, as you will be driving a company van to customer locations for service calls.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
