DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


HOURS:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

  • Fri-Tues 4pm12:30am

QUALIFICATIONS:

HS diploma or GED required. Good reading, writing and verbal skills. Basic computer literacy required. Experience with homeless population and crisis intervention preferred. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The Glass Factory Apartments consist of 45 units of supported housing for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Fully renovated in 1996, the Glass Factory is a permanent SRO housing facility funded by the NYC Human Resource Administration's HIV/AIDS Services Administration and the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

In addition to providing permanent housing for its tenants, Glass Factory offers a variety of supportive services aimed at helping clients stabilize their health, maintain their independence and build a community of support among peers.

These services include case management, medication monitoring, referrals to medical facilities, health education, psychiatric management, entitlement support and money management, recreational act.
